Lindy Hop & Charleston Trial Class

Get acquainted with the Lindy Hop and the dances that comprise the Lindy Hop. Here you get a taste of 6 and 8 count patterns, 1930s partner charlestons and individual movement steps called solo jazz steps. Love swing jazz music? We do too. Explore the world of the swing era and the swing dances with BSL.
There are no refunds for trial class payments unless class is cancelled by BSL. Please ensure that you are able to make class once you have signed up! If class is cancelled, you will be refunded the amount less administrative fees of 10%.
Tap Dance Trial Class

You always wanted to make noise with your feet...but in a musical way. This is the place to get started. Try our tap dance trial class. Come see if stomping and slapping your feet is something that you would love to be doing long term. Tap shoes not required.

Solo Jazz Trial Class

Solo Jazz is an old footwork based dance that emphasizes rhythms and self expression done to the music of the 1920s to 1940s. There are 3 "families" in modern day solo jazz - Rhythm steps, Jazz steps and Charleston steps. We love to use swing music because it is fun and infectious and also really helps us get in the groove. We dont need a partner to do solo jazz!!
